Facts About Changes to Your Water Pressure:
(Pennsylvania American Water will increase water pressure for many West Shore customers.)
Why?
The company recently completed system upgrades in response to customers' requests for increased water pressure and to meet growing water demands.
Where/When?
June 23-July 18, crews will slowly increase water pressure in:
• Hampden Township
• New Kingston Township
• Silver Spring Township
July 21-August 1, crews will slowly increase water pressure in:
• East Pennsboro Township • Camp Hill Borough
• Fairview Township • Lemoyne Township
• Lower Allen Township • Shiremanstown Borough
• Upper Allen Township • Wormleysburg Borough
What to Expect? What You Should Do?
• As a result of slight increase in water pressure, you might experience water drips in
faucets and toilets.
• Check the condition of your washing machine hoses prior to June 23. If the hoses are old or appear to be deteriorated, consider replacing both the hot and cold hoses.
